It's made from flooring, using flooring procedure, sanded as we sand floors and finished with flooring finish.... is it even a table?

Stairs!
Custom square nosing to compliment the existing end caps. Rounded walls and rounded end caps... oh fun!
This staircases is tight!
Stained in Bona Antique Brown and coated in satin polyurethane.
Spindles were installed a week before we showed up.

Large addition we did extending the oak hardwood 300sqft.
Unfortunately the new wood was 1/32" wider than the existing. This required running every board through a jig set up on the table saw to trim it to fit. Otherwise the finished install would be wider by 1 inch every 8.5 ft(totally unacceptable).
There were also a number wall removal areas that needed to be seamlessly repaired.
There was subfloor areas that needed to be addressed to ensure a flat even floor.

The finished floor was sanded and finished with poly-urethane satin finish.
Another happy customer!

Will this sand out? Odds are, usually yes!
In high wear areas, the finish will be removed quicker, leaving the raw wood to start oxidizing.
As it oxidizes it takes on that Grey color.
Oxidization is different than water damage. It's usually only skin deep and will generally sand out with a slightly heavier cut.
Unfortunately, the wood that has reached this state is now exposed and susceptible to permanent water damage since there is no longer finish in the pores sealing and protecting the wood.

Once you start to see Grey areas on your floor it's time to call us in for an assessment.

Not gonna lie, these 12"x12" 8 finger parquet floors are a bear to install.
First the 2" inch oak boards(pic2) get ripped down to 1½" and bundled into 8pcs (pic3) then get cut into 12" long bundles... halfway there.
Now each square gets laid out and then adjustment pieces are put in to tighten up the floor(can't have loose squares). Now the fun begins... each square gets 16 nails down each end plus 10 nails down the center... that's 42 nails per square... this tiny repair was 50 squares so...2100 nails....2100 squeezes of the trigger. Good times.
In the end after sanding an area slightly larger than the repair area, the blend was decent.

We were brought in to re-sand the floor and stain to match the stairs. A previous company failed twice, the first time too dark and the second time too light and really blotchy.
I would say we got the color pretty close

Custom herringbone install.
3 1/4" maple
Sitefinished with Bona Traffic HD water based finish.

Some of the challenges on this install were the 9 openings to the hallway making for a difficult planning of the border and the narrow field with 3 1/4" x 13" herringbone boards.
