Celebrate the best of a BC summer with Chef GJ.

This seasonal class showcases fresh local ingredients and vibrant summer flavours through a menu inspired by backyard gatherings, sunny evenings, and West Coast entertaining.

Enjoy a delicious lineup featuring Mini Portobello Sliders topped with rich caramelised onion jam and melted cheese, BBQ Jackfruit Open Face Sandwiches with smoky jackfruit and crisp summer slaw, and Fish Tacos filled with marinated fish, iceberg lettuce, and fresh mango salsa. Finish the evening with a decadent Dark Chocolate Mousse served with fresh BC berries.

Explore one of Peru’s most beloved culinary traditions with Chef Anahi in a special Peruvian–Chifa dining experience celebrating the fusion of Chinese and Peruvian cooking.

Chifa cuisine emerged from Chinese immigration to Peru and has become an essential part of the country’s food culture. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a menu highlighting the bold flavours, techniques, and ingredients that define this unique tradition. Begin with a guided tasting of classic Peruvian sauces that complement many Chifa dishes, followed by crispy pork-filled fried wontons served with a sweet-savory dipping sauce. The main course features Peru’s iconic beef stir-fry, cooked over high heat with onions, ají peppers, soy sauce, and vinegar, paired with arroz chaufa, Chinese-style fried rice with egg and green onion. Finish with a caramelized pineapple upside-down cake for dessert.
