Just because beach season is coming to an end doesn’t mean we can’t stock up on gifts for the beach-loving people in our lives. This lobster print just happens to make a pretty convincing case. 🦞

September brings plenty of cruise ships downtown, so we don’t want our local and year-round customers missing out on all the good things in the shop. Get them while they’re hot. Quite literally, in this case.

Offering this one for pre-sale before our upcoming Glace Bay estate sale!

Beautiful vintage mid-century piece with sliding doors, drawers, lots of storage and a glass-front display top.

The best part — the entire upper hutch moves/removes! It can be repositioned along the base, or take it off completely and use the bottom as a long credenza, TV stand or record cabinet.

It’s in really nice solid condition, with just a few small spots, and is such a gorgeous statement piece.

For three weeks this September, we’re opening one of the rooms inside Of Kin & Keep for local makers, artists, vintage collectors and creative businesses to set up shop and make it their own.

To give you an idea of the size, the available room is the same size as our current Closet space 10x8, where The Witching Post was once located.

For $200, you’ll have the space for the full week during one of the busiest months for cruise traffic in downtown Sydney.
Available weeks:

September 9–15 (6 cruise ships)

September 16–22 (8 cruise ships)

September 23–30 (8 cruise ships)

A new permanent business will be moving into the space on October 1, so this is a short and sweet opportunity to bring your work downtown without committing to a long-term storefront.

Vintage R.S. Associates Montreal Dining Set 🤎

This is such a cool piece of Canadian mid-century furniture and it has been in the same home its entire life!

R.S. Associates of Montreal dining table with 6 matching chairs. The table extends on both ends and gets HUGE when fully opened, but is a great everyday size when closed.

There is some wear from age and use — it’s vintage and has been well loved — so please look through the photos. 4 chairs are in good, usable condition and the other 2 matching chairs are included but need some repair.

Maker’s stamp is still underneath the table.
