I tried two new patterns; one turned out but the second had a lot of mistakes which led to ravelling and more ravelling. I almost gave up on the baby’s outfit. The colours aren’t right because the pattern failed to say switch colours when it’s time to separate the back and the front. By the time I realized this, I had a lot knit and didn’t want to ravel again. To knit this item, it took 3 or 4 times what it should have.

I was asked to make a sweater coat for someone. The directions were: Color teal, design is based on her traditional Inuit tattoos ( stickman on the back) and slits on the sides. I didn't have a pattern so I adjusted one to fit.

Working on a custom order cardigan but took a break to knit this new pattern. They really look like a sneaker.

Finished the sweater at 12:15 last Friday night and dropped it off at the Creamery Square on my way to work. Such fine yarn it took about 7000 stitches, about double of a chunky yarn sweater and it's so soft...
About 70 hours to complete over a three week period.
Part of my commitment to celebrate Canada 150 by helping a local charity.
There’s sure to be one individual that will have a perfect garment for any cooler July 1st in the future. Who ever wears this sweater will surely stand out in a crowd...
I am very pleased with this sweater created with acrylic yarn from Red Heart Soft Touch.
I hope the Creamery Square earns some serious money. We’ll found out in a later blog. I knitted a sweater for one of our local churches a few years ago and they were able to reach close to $800.00; by raffle.

I hope that everyone had a great Canada 150; and I hope that our neighbours to the south enjoy their 4th of July; may it only be a peaceful celebration of shared interests.
