🩵 We always love unloading the kiln with all the beautiful pottery people paint while here at Sketch! The things people create blows us away every time!!
We are open daily 11-8pm to paint@pottery on our patio, drinks, smoothies, pizza and a sandpit filled with toys to enjoy too!

Live Music Thursdays at Urban Surf start this week!

Cold beer. Cocktails. Pizza. Açaí bowls. Waterfront. Bonfires. Great people. Amazing local musicians.

Bring the family, meet some friends, or come down solo. Just hang, or come paint pottery, join our Make Your Own Mug Workshop, get out for a paddle, grab dinner on the patio.

Just be sure to settle in for live music starting at 630PM.

The sand pit is open, the drinks are cold, and the summer vibe is on.

Our Thursday nights with Live Music starts next week! ✨🎶 No one better to kick off our music night season but
This young man is so good, works the crowd and makes everyone feel apart of something really special!
🩵 Come with your whole family, yes the kids and dog too! Hang and enjoy our patio for drinks, pizza, gelato and more. The sandpits filled with new toys, our back yard games are out and the fire pits setting that vibe all night long.

Something new is coming to the Scent Bar.

We’ve partnered with Sketch Clay + Pottery for a two-part experience that brings together painted ceramics and custom fragrance.

In your first session, you’ll paint your custom-made candle vessel with Sketch. Once complete, your piece will be kiln-fired and prepared for its second life as a candle.

The following week, you’ll return to SoHum to explore our fragrance bar, choose your scent, and pour your candle into the vessel you created.

A piece made slowly, over two weeks.
First with colour. Then with scent.

Guests must be available to attend both sessions, as each vessel requires kiln firing between dates.

This two date workshop happens Thursday June 18th & Thursday June 25th. Only 15 seats available.

My week in Toronto was a dream, I miss it but have been using so many of the skillzzz and new techniques that we were drilled with at that workshop that it’s made me such a better potter in so many ways. ✨
I’m excited everyday to get in the shop and try new things and to continue to grow as a ceramic artist.
When you meet a man like him who is a world master it really humbles you and reminds you that there is so much out there in the world to learn and we must never stop!! His energy and the way he made the class feel loved and noticed was so special. ❤️
