Usually when I ask on a story which colour do you prefer - blue becomes the answer. And this set of dishes certainly is nostalgic. This is Staffordshire Ridgway Ironstone in the Meadowsweet pattern, featuring a pastoral blue transferware scene. These are vintage- so easily used day to day. We are selling them individually or at a much reduced price for the set.

As we prepare for the Aberfoyle Antique show this Saturday lots of ins and outs are happening at the shop. I’ll be taking lots of art to the show- which made way for this extra large watercolour to make its entrance. It’s signed - but difficult to decipher.

And yes- the tufted leather chair has sold. Making its way soon to its new home.
