What a season to be a fan! 🏈 Honestly probably the best and funnest season in recent memory (IMO).

When had a call out to test her latest , I knew I wanted to do something to include all the players that made me jump off the couch with excitement. I created individual jersey charts (with the charts and graphs included in the doodle pattern) to seamlessly knit this cowl. Alternative option would be to double stitch (like I did for the red detail on the sleeves).

I used Solids and my 4mm doing 6 repeats of the pattern to create this cowl.

The possibilities are endless with doodle charts from , I’m definitely not done creating with these charts 🏈

This summer was very transformative and along the way, I lost my crojo (mojo for crafting). I started this cowl during one of our weekend getaways at Easter and I think I’m finally ready to graft it finally. Slowly but surely, I’ll get my crojo back.

It’s the first time I got to pull out a hand knitted sweater for the fall and boy did I miss it. It was also the first time since June that I was home alone. Holy moly did I ever need it to recharge my battery.

Back in 2021, I knew that this crocheted yarn bomb (designed by of ) of would be one of the most important pieces I’d ever have the privilege to work on. It was hung in in Washington, DC for International Women’s Day in 2021, think it needs to make a comeback. 😉

I have the severe itch to cast on a new project. But I told myself I will finish this one custom piece before starting a new project, even if it’s a small one just to “get it out of my system”. As much as I love big projects, the delayed gratification of finishing a project is a killer.

But I got up hours early on my day off to get housework out of the way. Now I’m home alone with a new book, let’s hope I don’t get easily distracted so I can finish this lace hat. 🤞🏼

It’s and I’ve got a few big on the go right now. These are proof that I’m someone who loves the process of knitting and crocheting. From colorwork knitting, crocheting a sweater for Harlow to crocheting lace, long big projects give me such a sense of joy.

I can tell when it’s spring when the flowers start to bloom and start appearing everywhere. It’s also when I make projects with crocheted flowers. These custom ordered headbands were such a fun make for the spring. I love when ideas work out perfectly. 🌸
