I love working with all kinds of medium, but paper is my favourite. Scrapbook paper, book pages, magazine pages, music sheets, origami paper, textured paper, silk paper, foil paper, anything you can imagine! I have created some truly amazing treasures over the years, and I want to share that passion with you! There is nothing better than spending a relaxing evening working in my craft room on some
new dolls, binding a new book, or preparing collage pieces for my mixed media art journal. I have created bouquets of paper flowers, whimsical fairy-tale canvases, hand-stitched journals, custom cards, and of course, my scrapbooks! These all hold a very special place in my heart, and I hope you love every piece that comes through my shop as much as I do. My personal hobbies include reading, watching movies, and occasionally baking up a storm in my kitchen. I take my inspiration not only from my own life, but from the fantasy fiction that is overflowing on my bookshelf. I love stories involving mythical creatures, and I enjoy playing with that imagery in my craft. Aside from my work, my husband and two dogs are my greatest loves, and I spend as much free time with them as possible. Tim and I had a whirlwind romance, knowing from the start of our relationship that we were meant to be together. We are now married, living in an urban city-centre in northwestern Ontario. When I am working on new treasures, the dogs are asleep at my feet and Tim goes to his man-cave to play in the NHL, race cars, and fight in galactic battles in his favourite video games. I have been making things since I was a little girl, spending as much time with a glue gun in my hands as my mom and dad would allow. As I have grown up, scrapbooking is something that I share passionately with my mom, and we spend a lot of our free time scouring craft and antique stores looking for quirky new items to incorporate into our projects. It is a special bond that will never waver.
