Hey friends, here is our August Schedule. Big announcement is that we have a place for “The Market” on the last Sunday of every month, starting August 30th! You can find us at McGregor Rec Centre, 800 Lakeshore Drive, in Shuniah from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. We will be serving hot breakfast - menu to be updated closer to the date.

We’re down at 100 Simpson Street at Mum’s Pantry today until 6:00PM. We’re serving up Shepherds Pie, Lazy Lasagna, and Vegetable Beef Soup for lunch, along with our many other options from the fridge and freezer. We have a variety of pickled beets, dill carrots, candied jalapeños, jams, jellies and sugar-free jam.

Dandelion jelly is a floral, sweet preserve made by boiling fresh, yellow dandelion flowers to make a tea. It has a beautiful golden color and a light, honey-like flavor that pairs wonderfully with biscuits, toast, or charcuterie boards.

Open Thursday to Saturday, 12:00PM to 6:00PM.

Austin has had a busy day! Keep watch, we will soon have some Dandelion Jelly and Cinnamon Dandelion Jelly as Tanya works her magic! I love the new season! So many possibilities.

Preserved In Thyme is hitting the market this coming Saturday, May 16th at the Heritage Building 8:00AM to 3:00PM. Is it Thyme to restock? We have beets, carrots, raspberry jam, hot peppers, sugar free jam and just added Bumble berry Jam, Strawberry jam, Dandelion Jelly, and Rhubarb Jelly. Come see us and we’ll help you out.
