She's Fluffy, the Carnivals Favorite Little Beast!

Finally finished and looking creepy as Hell, but oh so adorable with her bat wing collar, this is the very first illustration in my new ongoing series, "Fluffy's Adventures"!

This new, unhindged series features this adorable demonic little piggy here and her friends of all types. She might befriend a deer, a frog or maybe even Baphomet themselves, who knows, genuinely not me 🤣

What I do know is, Fluffy's adventures are mainly centered around a twisted carnival where the ducks run a mob-like organization, have swans as security for their pond, and Fluffy? Well let's just say stay on her good side, or she might es**rt you to her pumpkin patch 😈

Swipe for today's progress. It's been a while since I was this excited about a piece! Mainly because over the past year I've realized while painting is a thing I do, it's actually not what I enjoy most. So, I'm going back to my artistic roots and the mediums that bring me the most joy to work with.

This piece is alcohol marker and pencil crayon in my 11 x 17 inch sketchbook. I'm really enjoying the darker, bold, vintage looking colour palette I chose.... though the green, I got some on Fluffy the pigs neck, soo now she's getting a scarf 😆 I am a human creator 🤷‍♀️

One crazy idea lead to another and next thing we know, my partner and I have taken my sweet little piggy "Fluffy" and created an entire twisted carnival filled with demonic pigs, juggalette cats and gangster ducks that have "geese on payroll and swans on patrol" 🎶 😂

I hadn't planned on posting today, but this happened while finishing the next piece of my "Peacock Guardian" wall relief sculpture series, and well, this, is some of the insanity I was talking about. Some days I'm not sure how I get anything done 😂

A new chapter begins, with a 21 year old piece of my original artwork!

I drew this when I was just 16, while even at that age I could do better, this sketch sums up the direction my social media pages are heading... to a totally insane surreal creative space where one can expect the unexpected, and the occasional terrifying clown or flaming carousel horse. My creations themselves will still feature the same themes and subjects they always have, just sprinkling in some new ideas and characters.

The photos that follow are Sweetly Sinister Boutique, all of Sweetly Sinister Boutique. With new shelves securely in place and more room for works in progress, I am finally ready to resume creating. It's been a rough year.

After a long, very difficult year, I'm baaaaack!

A big thank you to all my followers who stuck around during my lengthy absence, you guys are awesome and I appreciate you all! 🧡

I'll be sharing what's happened in the coming weeks, and trust me, it's been a hell of a year for my family.

Finally, I listed my stickers!

They're 2 inch round individuals which can be bought as singles, bundle of 3, or bundle of 5, great for sharing with your fellow occult friends!

Durable and sticky, slap 'em just about anywhere you want... to test quality I actually washed the travel mug with the sticker on it using the classic yellow-green sponge and regular dish soap. Didn't budge or smudge at all! I will definitely continue to use this print shop.

I'll be adding more designs as time unfolds, but for the very first, it of course had to be my studios logo 🥰

More new items to be listed next week, zombie unicorn mini paintings anyone? 🧟‍♂️ 🦄 😆

It's been over a month since my last post. The Toronto Halloween Show was unfortunately a bit of bust. The event itself was set up great, it's just the attendance was terrible.

After a bit of rest, I thought for a while where I want my studio, Sweetly Sinister Art, to be in the future and how to get there.

The answer is simple, the work was not. The answer: I just want to create Satanic and Gothic home decor, pieces that are glamorous and sophisticated, yet suitable for every day.

The work: To give my pieces a better chance at selling online, I spent 3 weeks restructuring my entire business and updating my online shop. It was a lot of work I really didn't want to do, but I'm already seeing some positive results. (Shop link in bio)

Thanks for hanging in there for me. I didn't lose a single follower this month, I actually gained some 😆 Onwards and upwards my Darklings old & new!
