It’s amazing to look back and see where the little seed of an idea comes from, and how it evolves into something extraordinary💗

This once forgotten corner now becomes the perfect place in our Riverdale primary bedroom to curl up with a good book, or for some quiet alone time🥰
I love this “before and after” because all it took was some creativity, and a little reimagining of an already lovely space✨➡️

And just like that… It is September.

We are all starting to think about fall now (and nothing says fall like a moss-green mohair ottoman and cognac brown leather swivel chair😉), and I’m reminded of this wonderful family room that I designed that will always be a favourite.
I designed the space for real people to live in ~ beautiful, well-made, durable and family friendly furniture, materials and finishes.

No construction, no renovation, just some redesigning, custom millwork & furniture, and thoughtful choices as to how to make this room work better for a busy family.

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Was it hard getting out of bed this morning?? I totally feel you…😉
With every bedroom I design, I try to create the most perfect sanctuary that you will never want to leave. Comforting, calming, relaxing…bliss🥰😴
See this incredible “before and after”, where we did nothing structural, and actually kept our clients’ night tables and dresser. It’s often a few small changes that can make a huge difference➡️💗

Installing a project so near and dear to my heart, a three-year labour of love❤️
A huge thanks to our heroes at Walden Homes, Olympic Kitchens, Cabinet Furniture, the Wallpaper Guys and our very talented craftspeople and workrooms.
Most of all, gratitude for our wonderful clients, who put their faith in us, as we created their dream home. I hope we gave you your "holy s**t, I live here!" moment😉🥰🥂💞

Sometimes a isn’t a full-on renovation, but a reinvention instead. Often, we work with our clients to keep what they love ~ and then work our ✨magic✨
At our Riverdale Project, our clients loved the hand painting on their walls, and yet wanted us to reimagine their bedroom and completely change the feeling of the space.
This bedroom went from drab and dusty, to WOW and vibrant with some new furniture, lighting, a bit of strategic painting, and spectacular fabrics🩷 (of course😉)
