A flexible new social lounge expands the possibilities for events and gatherings, while a phased renovation kept the firm up and running throughout the transformation.

The result? A refreshed, more purposeful space that works harder for its people.

We’re so grateful to have had Neve on our team as a design intern, sharing her talent, perspective, and enthusiasm for design with us. As she heads into her fourth year at Toronto Metropolitan University, we’re excited to see what’s ahead and wish her the very best in all that comes next!

Here’s what Neve had to say:

Hi, I’m Neve! I was lucky enough to complete my internship with iN STUDIO, where I had the opportunity to grow not only as a designer, but as a member of an incredibly talented team.

Throughout my experience, I learned how to efficiently support a design team through different phases of multiple projects and gained a better understanding of realistic timelines, expectations, and the level of detail required. I especially enjoyed sourcing finishes, where I learned how to incorporate a client’s branding and budget requirements while considering the most suitable materials for each application.

I went into this internship hoping to gain a skill set that would prepare me for the industry post-grad and identify areas where I could continue to grow. I credit iN STUDIO for creating such a well-rounded and exciting internship experience that supported my learning while giving me space to grow. Working with iN STUDIO makes me look forward to a future career in interior design.
