Dixie Orchard Farm in Caledon is the only place in Ontario where you can pick your own hazelnuts! The best time to visit, in my opinion, is the first two weeks of October. That's when the hazelnut season kicks off, and it's super short, just about two weeks. You can also pick amazing apples and it's pumpkin season too, with a fantastic selection of all kinds of unique and quirky pumpkins. There are lots of fun activities for kids as well.

Today I finally closed a gestalt that had been open for more than 10 years. 💙
It took me more than a decade to return to this incredible place — The Grotto — and this time, I finally did it all. I explored the main sights and, most importantly, took the risk and climbed down to the famous cave lake — the hidden gem so many people come here to see.
Getting there is definitely an adventure: climbing down the rocks, squeezing through a tiny opening, and carefully making your way into the cave. Good shoes and lots of caution are a must! 😅
But once you get inside… wow. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Crystal-clear blue water, the cave, the light — simply unforgettable. 💙✨

The best friend is definitely the one who lives in Florida 😄☀️🌴
I’m incredibly lucky that two of my childhood best friends call Florida home — one in Orlando and the other near the beautiful Gulf Coast. Thanks to them, this became one of our most memorable family vacations. We explored so much of Florida with the kids, created amazing memories, and got to spend precious time with people we love.
Thank you both for the warmest welcome and unforgettable hospitality. We already miss you and can’t wait to have you visit us in Canada!

Today we started our adventure at Storm Crow Manor, wh inere glowing drinks, bubbling potions, and magical details instantly transported us into a fantasy world.
After that, we spent hours wandering through the University of Toronto campus. There is something special about being able to freely explore the historic buildings, peek into rehearsal spaces, sit in lecture halls, and stroll through beautiful courtyards and tree-lined pathways.
With its stunning Gothic architecture, the campus felt like a real-life Harry Potter setting. The kids may have brought a little more noise than the atmosphere called for, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the magic of the place.
A day filled with imagination, beautiful architecture, and a reminder that some of the best adventures are right in your own city. ✨

We had the chance to visit the grounds of the Ringling family museum during our Florida trip—the legendary circus family! Mable Ringling, known for her rose alleys, helped shape this estate. Originally a home for circus artifacts, the collection grew into a gallery with authentic Renaissance masterpieces. I didn’t get inside—my kids are still small—but we explored the vast grounds. The estate touches the ocean, with stunning banyan trees—these trees send down roots that form new trunks, creating a whole "forest" from one tree. Sculptures are scattered everywhere—you can wander for hours. My kids, though, were all about Siesta Beach (just under 30 minutes away). But for me, I could’ve stayed in that wonderland of art and nature all day!

Did you know that just outside Orlando there’s a place where kids can discover real crystals, feed giraffes, and go on a safari?
Yesterday we visited The Showcase of Citrus. During the season, you can pick your own organic citrus fruits, but the biggest hit for our kids was Gem Stone Mining! We found lots of beautiful gemstones and even a HUGE amethyst. The excitement of uncovering treasures was priceless.
Add in a Monster Truck ride, giraffes, ostriches, and bison, and you have the perfect family adventure! 💎🦒🚜

Did you know that Siesta Beach in Florida is often ranked higher than many famous Miami beaches and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in America?
Today I finally saw why.
The sand is incredibly white, soft, and cool to the touch because it is made almost entirely of quartz. The water is crystal clear, with the most stunning shades of turquoise and blue. It felt like swimming in warm milk — calm, gentle, and perfect for children.
No wonder people travel from all over the world to visit this place. The beach is wide, breathtakingly beautiful, family-friendly, and the sunsets here are unforgettable.
We had the best time today. Watching my kids run through the powdery white sand, play in the warm water, and simply enjoy being carefree was one of those moments I will always remember.
A huge thank you to my amazing golden-hearted friend for taking these beautiful photos and helping create memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️
Siesta Beach is absolutely worth visiting at least once in your life.
