Upscale, timeless, and coveted are a few defining words shared between Yorkville Avenue and its newest supper club, Powder Room. The interior is enveloped in custom branded drapery, leopard print walls and a speakeasy-style ambience. This upscale cocktail lounge introduces an intimate music stage and calming hospitality experience to enjoy live entertainment, Michelin-worthy food, and thoughtful design. Organica Studio’s architectural design assisted Liberty Entertainment Group with curating this space with a focus on comfort.
 
Each corner inside Powder Room reveals the desirable components of your new favourite lounge. The entry, covered in Rosso Levanto stone, opens towards the matching 26-foot long cocktail bar. Across the bar, a window frames an iconic Banksy and peeks into a photographic corridor which parallels the open lounge. The deep cherry tones of stone are softened by velvet fabric engulfing the stage and private dining room. Similar to the historic streets of Yorkville, Powder Room embodies a charming character at every turn..

Foreshadowing the interior of this wood-fired bagel shop, the storefront showcases embedded charcoal-finished firewood with a warm brick surround. Bagels on Fire opened their fourth location, with Organica’s interior design nodding to their refined brand identity. Located in the heart of Liberty Village, visitors gain a taste of the wood-fired bagel experience before entering the store.
 
The design intent behind this food-retail project was to source materiality and themes of their existing three locations into a defining brand identity. A modern approach to charred wood, brick mantles, and forged metal is evident from the service experience through to exterior signage. Thoughtfully selected materials will encourage the family-run franchise to expand their locations with versatile variations of an identifiable brand identity.

Images of our recently completed Upper Beaches beauty. This new 2 dwelling residence was previously an existing post war bungalow that our client wanted to renew and expand. The first phase of the project added a second dwelling in the basement and the second phase added a second storey. This project not only expanded the original residence but added density, modernized it, and gave it a new design aesthetic both inside and outside.
