For project Pickering, our client had a furniture and decor collection that would make anyone swoon. All of these pieces were the perfect jumping off point for the cottage-esque envelope we sought to create.

We are BIG proponents of using secondhand, vintage or better yet… what you already own. Pieces with history and sentiment will always bring a level of warmth and individuality that can’t be manufactured. 🧡

The latest kitchen design for… 🥁 you guessed it: Project Garden.

The brief for this home was warm and current, with a mid-century sensibility and a touch of traditional detailing. The goal was to create something lasting, with unique details inspired by the context of the Victorian Toronto home and the personal style of our clients.

Ahhh… 🍹😎

As much as we love a finished space, there’s something so satisfying about putting these design presentation carousels together. It’s a chance to look back at the decisions, the details, and the overall direction.

That’s one of our favourite parts of the design process. It brings so much ✨ CLARITY ✨ before the shovel hits the ground.

A space doesn’t need to be neutral to feel natural. Colour is all around us, and when rooted in nature, it brings warmth and depth without overpowering a space.

For this fireplace, we reimagined the original surround with a simple mantel upgrade and a gorgeous blue tile that quietly blends into the home’s warm, naturally inspired palette.

Our favourite feature at Project Pickering is the kitchen ceiling. Structural and faux beams were integrated into a tongue-and-groove wood plank ceiling, creating a soft, heritage-inspired coffered detail.

A lot of coordination went into how the architectural details met the kitchen millwork, and we love how seamlessly it all came together. 👌🌸

We really love how this powder room came together for Project Pickering. The goal for the home was to create a cozy cabin / country home feel tucked away in the Toronto Beaches.

What makes this space feel especially layered is the combination of the illustrative wallpaper, contrast mosaic marble, and the vintage-style deep wood vanity. Together, they bring a warmth and character that feels collected over time.

What we love about designing small spaces is the opportunity to make every square inch feel intentional and supportive of a peaceful everyday life.

This one-bedroom loft had the most beautiful beams and columns that challenged us to weave a warm space full of character.
