A few more glimpses from the beautiful show home we toured in New Orleans while attending with .

One of my favourite parts of any design event is the unexpected connections you make along the way. I had such a lovely time getting to know - what a pleasure to meet you!

Our conversation quickly wandered from design to places we love: summers along the ocean in Cape Cod and time spent in Ontario’s cottage country on Georgian Bay. Clearly, we’re both water people and share an appreciation for beauty that feels refined, relaxed, and timeless.

It’s always the personal connections that make these experiences so memorable, and this one will linger loooong!

Turns out, a room with a view isn’t just a real estate selling feature. 😉🌊

Our surroundings have a powerful way of influencing how we feel. A little ocean, a little fresh air, a lot less visual chaos… and suddenly, life feels a whole lot better.

That’s the fascinating thing about neuroaesthetics. What we see, and the spaces we spend time in, can influence our mood, stress levels, and overall wellbeing.

As a designer, I’ve always believed good design should do more than look pretty. It should make you feel something, too.
