Attention! Special Hours! For the next two weeks we have extended hours: WALK-INS ANYTIME Tuesday to Saturday between 10-6. Lots of time for browsing and pickups!

THEN, we are extending the August long weekend into a full week store closure: WE’LL BE CLOSED AUGUST 5th-14th.

A year on, and still every day we break the news to someone that Sam is gone, and then deal with their surprise and sadness. “I guess I just always expected him to be behind the desk when I walked in,” a lot of people say, and I feel the same! We strongly believe in relaxing on long weekends, but we’ll be OPEN Saturday 10-6 of the Family Day Long Weekend (aka tomorrow), which is *very* rare for us! If your idea of a chill long weekend includes beautiful vintage architectural details, maybe swing by? ☀️

That’s it for 2021! We’re now on break until the first week of January. In light of the rapidly changing situation, we’ll reassess our store hours at that time. From deep in my heart, THANK YOU for your support this year. Your enthusiasm for what we do lifts my spirits daily. That we’ve been able to keep *all this* thriving during a pandemic and without Sam brings me incredible pride and all kinds of feelings. Biggest thanks to our tiny team who make this shop my second home.

A collection of backplates for back-to-school, and a note that WE’LL BE CLOSED this Saturday, Sunday & Monday for the long weekend.

ALSO, given the rising fourth wave, we’ve decided to put a hold on our plans of reopening to walk-in shopping for now, and will reassess in a few weeks. We’re keeping busy with curbside pickups, and we’re also working hard to get the shop set up nicely. We want to welcome you beautifully when the time is right!
