Moments like this remind me why I travel — to see how big the world really is.

Birthday in Nepal today.

Sunrise over the Himalayas in Nagarkot,
walking through villages,
long way back to Pokhara,
mountains, lake, museum,
and dinner by the water with my friend.

Days like this remind me how big the world is
and how lucky I am to still be curious,
still learning, still moving forward.

Grateful for another year.
Grateful for strength.
Grateful for the journey.

Traveling shows me beauty.
But working with flowers is where I feel most myself.

Long walk yesterday.
Beautiful landscape, wild plants, people working, prayer flags everywhere.
I always come home with new colour ideas after trips like this.

Since I was a child, I have been afraid of heights.
Bridges like this always felt impossible.

Today I walked across the longest hanging bridge I have ever seen —
250 meters above the valley, swinging in the wind, step after step.

My legs were shaking.
My mind was loud.
Part of me wanted to turn back.

But I didn’t.

I kept walking.
With support from my group.
With trust.
With determination.

Fear doesn’t go away.
You just become stronger than the fear.

Every trip changes me.
Every mountain teaches something.
Every challenge reminds me who I am becoming.

Effort creates beauty.
Elevation requires strength.
Joy is earned.

Nepal, this is only the beginning.

First day Exploring the streets and temples of Kathmandu.

Ancient wood carvings, narrow streets filled with scooters, marigold flower markets, and temples that have stood for centuries.

Travel reminds me how deeply culture, craft, and everyday life are connected.

Even here, thousands of kilometers from home, flowers are everywhere.

I’m just getting started.

Arrived in Kathmandu last night.
After months of planning and a very long journey, I finally arrived in Nepal and was welcomed Pooja in person.

Flowers in hand (of course 🌸), smiles all around, and in 30 minutes I start a tour of the incredible UNESCO heritage sites of Kathmandu.

New country.
New culture.
New stories.

Let the adventure begin.

From flowers to mountains. 🌍✈️

After weeks of designing, deliveries, and late nights in the studio, I’m finally on my way to Nepal.

The journey already feels surreal — sunrise over the runway in Seoul, crossing the Pacific, watching the world slowly move beneath the plane.

Nepal has been on my mind for a long time.
Mountains, culture, long hikes, and space to breathe.

This trip is about exploration, strength, and seeing a completely different part of the world.

For the next few weeks I’ll trade flower coolers for mountain trails.

Kathmandu first… then the Himalayas.

Adventure begins with the long stop over in Seoul.

Soft blush flowers for today’s bridal shower 🌸

Designed this morning in our Scarborough studio using hydrangeas, roses, orchids and soft mauve mums.

Low, romantic centerpieces created to complement the warm wood tables, pink glassware and soft candlelight of the room.

I always enjoy the moment when the flowers meet the space — when everything comes together just before the guests arrive.

Wishing the bride a beautiful celebration and a wonderful new chapter ahead.
