Lift slightly → pull down → release → the spring activates and locks the shade into position.

STOP — don’t make this mistake when installing your Cordless Roman shade.

If the mechanism is not hanging when you activate it, you can damage the spring.

Always install the brackets first — then attach the mechanism and activate the spring.
