on behind Social Fabric is that participants in several neighbourhoods unite to become a land redevelopment company that constructs what neighbours need as well as what investors in condominiums want. We start with an interior design department and add a grounds/garden design department. We're adding architectural, real estate and financial no-how. The condo tower boom, that upsets so many of us, has not yet resulted in any kind of educational or production facilities we need to advance ourselves as a society. As a result the design of interiors will teach each of us, as learner-participants, about holistic approaches to making things and starting a business. Those of us who want to be entrepreneurs will learn about customized production and distribution locally in today’s values-based society. Fabric can be used to create communities that include those of us who are stuck at home, with few friends, say recovering from an illness. Someone can cycle or drive around the neighbourhood in the morning to deliver fabric for us to work on for a client. In the evening someone can check in and pick up whatever work we've completed. Our way to socialize and earn money on the way to health can be as simple as cutting out fabric according to a pattern. What about those of us who are going hungry for fun and mythology in our lives? What do you have on while you're dancing down the street on your way to the epic that's started in your neighbourhood? At Social Fabric we're needling our way through shamanic, aristocratic, and sacred geometric themes looking for stuff that will delight and enthrall society at large.
