What is BNI?

Looking to expand your contacts and grow your business? Every Wednesday morning from 8:15-10am you can join us for an inspiring morning of networking and education geared towards increasing your revenue. As one of Toronto’s top business networking groups, we are focused on creating authentic relationships that revolve around learning about the core value and needs of each other’s businesses so we can offer worthwhile referrals for business growth and strategic partnerships.

Every member in each BNI chapter represents a role within an industry to avoid internal competition. For example, only one interior designer, only one photographer, only one real estate lawyer is allowed per chapter. Occasionally members welcome another member similar to their seat if they both represent a different concentration, ie., a residential realtor and a commercial realtor may both join the same chapter. There are hundreds of roles out there and we’re excited to grow and fill them all, so please don’t hesitate to contact us no matter what industry you’re in. WHAT TO EXPECT: At our weekly meetings you’ll enjoy a small breakfast buffet with coffee, tea and juice. Some time is spent mingling and then we gather to participate in a very structured meeting. This meeting is focused on learning more about what all of our members and visitors do for a living and what types of referrals we are all looking for, so that we can be effective in helping everyone receive those referrals. Please be prepared to speak for 45 seconds to the group about what you do and who your ideal referral would be. Don’t forget to bring plenty of business cards (at least 30), as you will meet many business professionals. We put your cards in a box that gets circulated during the meeting. There is a fee of $20 to visit which covers your food and goes towards our venue rental expenses.

OUR RESULTS: Our chapter is currently at 27 members and growing. In our last fiscal year, our chapter referred approximately $750,000 worth of business between members! We like to have a lot of fun, but we do take our networking roles seriously because there’s a lot to give and a lot to gain in doing so. Get in on the action today :)
