The excitement is too much!! Our newest shipment arrived bright and early yesterday morning all the way from Ireland. It’s bursting with cosy knitwear, home fragrances, new linen garments for men and women, blankets galore … the list goes on!!

It’s load in and unpacking time and we can’t wait to show you what’s inside (but that might take a few more days).

Cleaning, styling and prepping for our re-opening day tomorrow. We have been closed all week to do some interior renovations, add a brand new floor to the entire retail space and do some additional touch-ups too. It’s been a busy week but an incredibly exciting week.

This girl!! What can I say other than I (and IDH) will miss you so!!! Doireann came into our lives last Fall for what was supposed to be a short term seasonal position and ended up being my right hand lady and true friend.

Doireann flew back to Ireland yesterday to begin her new life back in the Emerald Isle after two years away from her Irish teaching post.

We cannot thank her enough for her loyalty, fun, dedication and genuine personality she brought to the store every day. I’m sure there will be many sad customers when they learn that she will no longer be there to greet them. My day will be very different without you. In saying that, we wish her every success back home. She promises to pop in for a visit next summer, so we’re holding you to that Doireann. We bid farewell in true Irish style with a few drinks and a natter last week with the rest of the team, a very special night.

We will be closed today and the following few days as we are doing some interior renovations. Our hope is to be back open by Friday with a brand new floor but we will keep you posted as we progress through the week.

Big project ahead but we can’t wait to see the finished results. 🥰 Fingers crossed for smooth sailing.

The air quality is extremely dangerous today with a weather warning in effect so if you feel this is something that will benefit you or someone you know, please get in touch. You can pick them up in-store, have them picked up by Uber courier or we can mail them to you (postage must be paid)

No charge for the masks. Free to anyone who needs them. 100% cotton, washable and made right here at the store.
