From dated and damaged to timeless and elegant. β¨
This antique curved china cabinet had definitely seen better days. The finish was worn, the style felt dated, and years of use had left their mark. But underneath it all was a beautiful piece just waiting for a second chance.
Using a rich walnut stain to highlight the stunning wood grain and Onyx paint to add contrast and sophistication, this cabinet was completely reinvented with a fresh, modernized look while still respecting its history and character.
I love how the dark backdrop inside the display section makes the warm wood tones pop and gives the whole piece a more current, elevated feel.
