I'm a small business owner... but I'm also...

10/13/2026

Well, Mother Nature is making my to do list a little more challenging today. 😂🌧️

The rain is absolutely appreciated (we needed it!), but the thunder and lightning? Not so much. I could turn my lasers on, but I won't risk a perfectly timed lightning strike frying a power supply or damaging my equipment. Ain't nobody got time for that! ⚡️😂

So, while I wait for clearer skies, I'm checking a few other things off my list and sharing a custom sign that left for its new home a couple of weeks ago. 💜💚

Now tell me… did everyone have a good Thanksgiving? Did you eat your weight in turkey, or are you still working through the leftovers? 🦃👇

🧡 Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂

I have so much to be thankful for with this little business, and you’re a huge part of it! To every customer, follower, and person who has supported me in any way, shape, or form; thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means more than you know. 💜💚

Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and good food! 🧡

I absolutely LOVE how these turned out! Both are collapsible for easy storage and transportation!

Such a pleasure working with you! ❤️

Thank you to Something Creative by Sophi for our new sign and Square reader holder. We absolutely love ❤️ them.
Can't wait for next show on Oct 17th Brighton Community Centre vendor show to display them.

A new ornament joining the lineup this year… and this one is a little closer to home. ❤️🐾

Our pets aren’t just pets. They’re family. They leave paw prints on our hearts, fill our homes with love, and somehow manage to take a tiny piece of us with them when they go.

We’ve lost fur babies of our own, including one earlier this year who left us far too unexpectedly. So yes… this ornament will be hanging on our tree, too. ❤️

I hope this little piece finds its way onto the trees of others who are missing a beloved pet this Christmas.

Drop a photo of your fur babies in the comments; the ones beside you now AND the ones who were gone far too soon. 🐾❤️ And take a peek in the comments to meet some of our own.

Behind the scenes, I’m in full-on Christmas production goblin mode 🎄🔨, stocking up for A Country Christmas Gathering Tour, Hawks Holiday Bazaar and my first appearance at The 1914 Venue, but also chipping away at custom orders.

But let’s talk about the real problem: +1°?! 🥶

My summer heart is offended. I am a sandals until the snow flies woman. And honestly, even after the snow flies, I’ll probably still be wearing them because apparently I have something to prove.

Unfortunately, my aging toes have recently decided they would like to feel warmth. Rude. So there’s a very real possibility of socks and sandals this year.

And I am NOT. HERE. FOR. IT. 😂🩴

I'm so excited about the tour this year! Lots of prep happening around here!!

With the big laser BACK in business, let me tell you… she’s getting a WORKOUT. 😂🔥

I’ve been hard at it in the shop prepping for A Country Christmas Gathering Tour, and there are LOTS of things coming off that laser! 🎄✨

New Christmas goodies, a few brand-new ornaments that haven’t even been released yet, and some new signs in the works. I can’t wait to start showing you what I’ve been making! 👀🎅

What do you want to see first — ornaments or signs? 👇

Happy Monday! ❤️ New week, and I have THE BEST NEWS EVER…

MY BIG LASER IS UP AND RUNNING!!! 🎉🙌

And honestly, all the thanks for this one goes to my husband. ❤️

Neither of us really had any idea what we were getting into with this project, but he tackled it like a champ... just like he does with pretty much everything I throw at him. 😂

He’s my market helper. My tricky project helper. He’s also the guy who was voluntold for a job he never applied for, can’t quit, and when he tries somehow gets rehired the next day. 😂

This might be Something Creative by Sophi, and I may do all the laser work and painting… but this guy deals with the crap. And without Mr. Something Creative by Sophi, there wouldn’t be a Something Creative by Sophi at all.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, Josh. ❤️ Thank you for always jumping in, figuring things out, supporting my crazy ideas, and helping make all of this possible.

I appreciate you more than you know. ❤️

NOW LET’S MAKE SOME THINGS!!! 🔥✨

Well… WHAT A DAY. 🥹🍎

Applefest was absolutely amazing, and I genuinely cannot thank everyone enough. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who stopped by, everyone I got to chat with, and everyone who came out to support my little business. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. 🥹

This is exactly why I love Applefest so much. I spend most of my days alone in my workshop, making things and talking to myself 😂…and then in one day, I get to cram in SO many faces, conversations and familiar smiles. And I freaking love it.

Now…onto the chaos. 😂

✨ Big laser repair — PARTS HAVE ARRIVED and she's getting fixed! Hopefully back up and running early this week.
🎄 A Country Christmas Gathering Tour prep starts NOW!
🫠 Restock. Restock. Restock. A huge chunk of ornaments sold yesterday, so guess what I'll be making? 😂

Busy, busy, BUSY for the next month, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thank you again for an absolutely incredible day. I appreciate you more than you know. ❤️
