The HU-Mer is my new favvvvorite character. Shhhhh don’t tell the others.
Mind you the other characters all collectively rolled their eyes in amusement at me as it is well established that what ever is the latest creation is often my “favorite”.
This part human part Mer (sea) creature, named it Mack, tickles my brain like you wouldn’t believe.
I like mermaids and mermen and and merfolk but they are often quite prettified on the human side of things and I thought a pretty (beauty in the eye of the beholder and I am the beholder bwahahahaha) fishy face would be fun.
Did I google happy, swimming, living thier best lives fishies for inspiration? Yep! My google search is looking weird this week. Makes a nice change from “super grumpy old man” haha
Like a right proper fishy lipped sea creature who just happens to have wee toes and legs to paddle about with. bwahaha The better to kick and splash unsuspecting ocean waders I suspect. ;)

Mozart the walrus began as a lump of clay that was exposed to a lot of classical music. He enjoys the seaside, humming Rondo Alla Turca (impressive feat) and gossiping with Cormorants.

More walrus progress from the other day. He’s all finished now, resting on my shelves, hanging out until he meanders his way back into the Art2Sea Gallery tomorrow afternoon.
