I think I am going to do something a little different this year, only as I obtain the info, sitting in the store (when open lol) lots of people ask about the Iceburgs, now goingup with them was the norm, never had any real issue, as we saw them all the time, different shapes/sizes and yes some times a bit of color here and there, but the mainlanders luv-em... so as I know here is the latest report as I found........taaaaaddddaaaaaaaaa

I got a call today asking if I was available for a appointment in the store to view lights!!

The lady needed two lights for her home and was in Ajax at the time of calling, It would take them just over a hour. I said yes no worries let me know when you are close I will run down and turn the lights on. She must have called 4 times to let me know where she was and how much longer before they arrived. When she and her husband arrived, she told me of her days adventures and how she found Larocque Boutique. They were in the market for a sofa, and actually found one in Toronto on Marketplace. They were told it was dark brown, which fit their decor perfectly. So (ready for this) they Rented a trailer, and drove from OTTAWA, you got that Ottawa to Toronto to pick up this sofa. That is like a 5 hour drive, pulling a trailer!!! When they got there the Dark brown sofa was WINE....WINE ... WINE. (OMG I WOULD OF FLIPPED)..THEY were disappointed. And didnt purchase it. So they decided to look for lighting instead and found Larocque Boutique and sent a text. Once in the store, they were pretty surprised and started to feel better about their trip ...loved the choices of lights I had, r and asked me If I would be willing to move to Ottawa, I think she was kidding but I am not so sure. Once they found out the price the woman went around the store asking her husband what other lights she can replace. Ha Ha, they said finding Larocque lighting was worth the trip to Toronto and back...(not me I would still be pi**ed) In the end they wanted business cards and I told them I was sorry they were treated that way ..its really not nice to mislead people, they said it clearly was not brown or anywhere near brown....I felt bad for them but they said they enjoyed the drive and the adventure, both had positive attitudes, which was very nice to see....and the silver lining they said.....they found LAROCQUE...I encouraged them to look around Quinte West because Trenton may be small but we are mighty with some very nice and unique stores ....they left smiling...and told me as they left they liked Trenton.... BUT LOVED NEWFOUNDLAND HA HA...THEY VISITED IIN 2014!!! AND PLAN TO GO BACK!
