🧶Children’s Newfoundland Guernsey Booklet Includes:
Patterns for both a cozy textured sweater and a matching hat to keep little ones warm.
👉 Sizes: 4–14 years

Both booklets are coil-bound to lie flat while you knit and feature large, fold-out charts.

Originally designed by Barbara Harpur and written by Lisa Chatzikirou, they feature a gorgeous traditional diamond-and-zigzag texture. Pair them with our custom-dyed Briggs & Little Heritage yarn for an heirloom-quality project meant to be passed down for generations.

Finished Object Friday AND Free Pattern Friday!

I absolutely LOVE when you guys send me pictures of your finished objects made with yarn from COCO!

My lovely customer Marla sent me this photo of her finished Petty Harbour socks this week - aren't they beautiful!?

Marla visited COCO this summer while travelling in Newfoundland and was looking to get back into knitting after a long hiatus. She picked up a skein of Socknado by Ancient Arts Yarns in the gorgeous Bee Balm colourway, and wow—she definitely hasn’t lost her touch!

The pattern is Petty Harbour by Rayna Curtis, and I always recommend it to customers because it is a beginner-friendly design and it’s completely FREE! It has a simple, mindless repeat that is great for beginners and experienced knitters alike, making it the perfect, cozy project if you want to dive back into knitting after a break. You can grab the free download right now on Ravelry to start your own pair!
