May 9th (TOMORROW)
Small Yard Sale at my house - 276 Main Street, Twillingate.

Almost everything $1. Lots of books from the early 1900's, DVDs, Kitchen, Decor, really mixed bag. I literally have a truck full of stuff I haven't even sorted yet I'm just going to throw out on tables. 8-4. Early birds welcome. Will be run by my son as I'll be off for some Bergy Day activitiues.

Late Victorian “Cricket” Footstool with Faux Graining & Blue Velvet. Beautifully preserved late 19th-century (c. 1890–1910).

Dark, beautifully patina crackled texture on the wood. Top was reupholstered in the last forty years, using the original tacks.

The Red Circle Label is likely a remnant of a shipping or inventory label. In the late 1800s, manufacturers and retailers (like Eaton’s or Sears) often used these simple paper wafers to track inventory during rail transport.

The term “cricket stool” traditionally refers to small, low, functional stools that were often used near fireplaces.

A perfect accent piece for a cozy reading nook or a historic home. $125
