In light of , the 6ft live edge, arbutus carving of Billge the (baby) Humpback is complete. I have been hauling around and staring at this whale-shaped slab for years!

🐋 Also, name is in celebration of my grandpa Bill’s life - here’s to gentle wisdom and long journeys.

Hand-carved with a variety of power and hand tools, tung oil stain, and OSMO matte polyx-oil finish.

HOLY MOLY…. we just signed a lease!…at the heritage building and store, The Wreckage in Ucluelet. Many old stories of the west coast come from this special place. We are grateful to continue to share its charm through artwork, collaboration and overall embrace the rugged pacific coast and all of its gorgeous material. // Exciting plans are brewing for this gem of the community 🌊🏴‍☠️⛵️🪵
