My name is Erin Boulerice, and I began my journey in beautifying unwanted furniture in 2012, after my husband and I purchased a fully furnished, vacation rental property, located in the Laurentians. Knowing all too well that we couldn’t afford to refurnish the place, I did some research on various furniture paint. I took a workshop in Ottawa, taught by the lovely Katrina Barclay, from Malenka Orig

inals and fell in love with the product, and with its possibilities. After a couple of years of consistent work I decided to create a name for myself. I wanted something that would reflect what it is I do. I take antique furniture and give it a new life. Hoping to rewrite its future. From that, came the name Simply Rewritten. Policies:

Simply Rewritten’s mission is to re-purpose and rejuvenate unwanted, tired and dated pieces of furniture for another generation to enjoy. These pieces are not in “new condition” and come with blemishes and imperfections and are often damaged. We do our best to choose pieces that are in good condition and that require only minimal cosmetic repairs. However, there are those pieces that are in poor condition and in need of love….we take those too looking to re-house them. All pieces are sold “As Is” and it is up to the buyer to fully inspect the item to ensure it is what they’re looking for. There are no returns on furniture (original condition or re-purposed as well as antiques or any other home décor. Shipping/Deliver:

Simply Rewritten does offer local shipping/delivery on furniture items at an additional cost. If you are not from the area please contact us to inquire if we are able to deliver, as well as for the associated costs. The FAT Paint Company Product line and other in-store paint supplies is not a deliverable item. It must be purchased in store.

Life outside of Simply Rewritten has been busy over the last couple of years. I am still doing the odd custom piece as time allows; however, balancing work, life, business and family has been a challenge. I need to step away from retailing. I am unable to keep up with the demands and the requirements therefore, as of December 31st, 2023 Simply Rewritten, will no longer be retailing products from The FAT Pain’t Company. I will continue to sell my remaining stock until inventory is cleared out. This includes all products from the FAT Paint Company as well as Brushes and Stencils. I will no longer be placing any paint orders and will be selling the remaining stock.

Listed below is what is currently remaining in stock. There are 3 sizes of paint cans. The Quart (32oz) regular $44 on sale for $26.40. the Pint (16oz) regular price at $28 on sale for $16.80 and the sample (4oz) regular at $15 is on sale for $9. I still have some natural wax, black wax and patina wax in stock in both sizes as well as the clear coat and one can of Primed remaining. I also have paint brushes and wax brushes for sale as well. Message me for prices.

This four-place freestanding Kayak/Canoe Rack in a log construction, was built locally using eastern white cedar and was sealed with a semi transparent coat of Thompson’s WaterSeal in a maple brown finish. Each joint is glued and screwed. Glued mortise-and-tenon joinery was used where possible as well as brackets for additional support.

Comes preassembled and measures 90”Wx81”Dx64”H

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. We spent most of 2022 doing a full home renovation and I’m just slowly getting back into it. Trying to get through my own stock on top of the catching up with custom client pieces. I no longer have my staging area in my home and haven’t had the time to make a space in the garage this winter. Hopefully late spring it will be ready; so for now the odd piece will be posted from my living area.

Here’s a coffee table set I’ve had for years sitting in my “to be refinished pile”. I finally got around to them. Made from solid wood these beautiful veneered tops were stripped and stained in chestnut to bring out the natural red tones of this wood grain and the bases were painted in Raven by the FAT Paint Company and sealed with semi gloss water based clear coat.

Measurements are: 24”Wx28”Dx21”H (end table)
51 3/4”Wx29 3/34”Dx18 1/4”H (coffee table)

Located in Cornwall. Delivery available for a fee.

My boyfriend and I have amalgamated and we need to get rid of a few things. This table set being one of them. It’s in pretty good condition as is. The table top has a glass that comes with it and has always been on. Not a scratch on the top. Chair seats could be refinished to match if you’re up for the job or left as is. Solid wood table set in a cream finish and warm walnut colored stained top.

Measurements are 36”Wx60”Lx30”H. Includes. Table, 4 chairs and a bench.
