Leclair Decor Husband and wife founded residential design firm servicing clients across North America. Voila! Leclair Decor was born.

Who we are:

Leclair Decor is an Ottawa-based interior decorating firm founded and co-owned by husband and wife team Sacha and Melissa Leclair. After love and marriage -but slightly before the baby carriage- we bought our first house and got to work revamping it from top to bottom. Through the process of working together to transform our house into a home, we fell in love again – this time with th

e art of decorating interior spaces. After sharing photos of our progress and final product online, we immediately received requests from friends and acquaintances to guide them in revitalizing their own condos and houses. What we do:

Our specialties are project management, home decorating, and design consulting, which are provided to our clients through one-time consultations or more comprehensive project management services. Our clients are vibrant homeowners who want to create a beautiful space or home that looks both stylish and cozy. We love to mix finishes and styles to create truly personal spaces for our clients. Guiding our clients on where to spend and where to save is one of our fortes. What sets us apart:

We absolutely love what we do! Nothing brings us greater satisfaction than the moment we get to reveal a newly beautified space to our clients. From the moment we sit down with a new client to the final day of installation, we’re excited about the project and work hard to share that excitement through strong communication and collaboration with the homeowner. We are young, energetic, outgoing and make a point of combining emerging trends with classic design principles to create beautiful, modern spaces.

The finishing touches are often what make a space feel truly complete.

A beautiful rug grounds a room, adds warmth, texture, and helps define how a space is used. Runners create flow and guide the eye, while thoughtfully chosen artwork brings personality, character, and a sense of story.

Without them, even the most beautiful furniture can feel like it’s floating. With them, a room feels layered, intentional, and lived in.

It’s a reminder that great design isn’t always about adding more, it’s about adding the right pieces. 🤍

Hey, Sacha here. ❤️

Help me wish this incredible woman a very happy birthday today. 🎉

Melissa is not only an unbelievably talented designer and inspiring leader, but the most amazing mother to our kids and the person who keeps all of us grounded through every season of life. She gives so much of herself to the people around her and does it all with heart, strength, and grace.

I’m endlessly proud of everything she is and everything we’ve built together. We love you so much, Mel. 🤍

If you’re visiting Paris this year, don’t miss this gem… ✨
Petit Palais completely surprised us—in the best way.

Free entry, stunning architecture, and one of the most beautiful courtyards we’ve seen.
It’s the kind of place you wander into… and don’t want to leave.

Save this for your next Paris itinerary 🇫🇷

It’s been an incredible ski season but we’d be lying if we said we weren’t looking forward to our 4th summer season at the cabin!! Lots of mini projects planned! ☺️☀️

There’s something about having a dedicated space for the little rituals.
A slower start, a favourite mug, the quiet before the day begins.

We designed this coffee station for our Chicago project to feel like its own moment—like a standalone piece of furniture—while still living seamlessly within the kitchen.

Proof that function can be beautiful, and the smallest corners can hold the most intention.

What would you add to your dream coffee bar? ☕️✨

Which bunk are you taking?

Ever look around your home and think…
everything is nice, so why does it still feel off?

This is something I see all the time.

It’s not that anything is “wrong”, it’s that nothing is truly connecting.

When we design piece by piece without a clear direction, the space can end up feeling disjointed… even if every item is beautiful on its own.

The shift isn’t about buying more.
It’s about stepping back.

→ What do you want this space to feel like?
→ What tones, textures, and materials support that?
→ What palette is quietly tying everything together?

That’s where cohesion begins.

Not in the furniture.
In the intention behind it.

This is the foundation I come back to in every space I design and it changes everything.

If your home has been feeling “almost right” lately… this might be why.
