Luxury foyer design for a West Vancouver renovation…first impressions matter.

When our clients purchased this home, the original front door was centered beneath a dramatic double-height space. While visually grand, the location didn’t align with their cultural beliefs. Our solution was to relocate the foyer to the east side of the home, transforming what had been a home office into the new entry.

The challenge was giving this new foyer the presence expected in a house of this scale.

We created a custom tile pattern to ground the space. A glass wall with floating millwork adds discreet closet storage while keeping the room light and open. Paneled walls introduce architectural depth and a sculptural light fixture anchors the entry table, creating a sense of arrival.

Good design isn’t just about how something looks. It’s about understanding how people live, what they value, and shaping a home to support both.

Sometimes the most important design decision is where the front door belongs.

We are honoured to see our Lakehouse Project featured in in their lastest story on unexpected paint colours designers love.

For this custom home in British Columbia, we chose Down Pipe No. 26, a paint colour with deep lead gray tones and subtle blue undertones that create a rich, moody backdrop while still reflecting the natural West Coast landscape.

In open coastal homes like this one, darker tones can add depth and warmth, while allowing the surrounding architecture, views, and natural materials to shine.

We are excited to share, one of our favourite powder rooms is featured in this month 🤍 A tiny space with a big personality — just the way we like it.

Layered with a moody Ellie Cashman wallpaper, glossy fan tiles, and elegant marble counters, this room proves that “small” and “forgettable” are not the same thing. Every surface works hard, every detail has a point of view, and the whole space feels like a jewel box you stumble into and never want to leave.

Powder rooms are where we love to take risks, lean into drama, and give guests a little design surprise.

So grateful to see this project in print and to our amazing clients who trust us to go bold in the best ways.

Legacy Lakehouse | Dining Room

Designed as a gathering space in every sense, the dining room anchors this legacy lakehouse with warmth, restraint, and architectural intention. A custom stone fireplace brings weight and permanence, while the adjacent glass-enclosed wine cellar adds both function and visual depth—celebrating the clients’ love of entertaining without competing with the surrounding landscape.

Materiality was key. Soft natural light, layered textures, and a palette drawn from the forest beyond create a space that feels grounded and enduring. Though intimate in use, the dining room reflects the broader scope of the project: a fully integrated home designed for long stays, multigenerational gatherings, and a lifetime of shared moments.
