What started as one bathroom became two spaces that work beautifully for a growing family.

By adding a front dormer, we will transform this second-floor layout—creating a spacious primary ensuite while giving the kids a dedicated bathroom of their own. The result? Better flow, more privacy, and a home that functions for the way this family lives today.

Sometimes the biggest transformations aren’t about adding square footage—they’re about making every square foot work harder.

Something Blue.
This 1940s character home nestled in the heart of the city needed an update in almost every room to reflect the current lifestyle and design aesthetic of the homeowner. Sunday was tasked with rethinking the layout of key areas including the kitchen and dining area, updating the interior architecture and finishes, and furnishing the 2-bedroom home. The result is not daring nor extravagant; instead, a quiet, refined, comfortable luxury. The key foundation was the use of pleasing and long-standing materials that would age well, as longevity was key. A mix of subtle colours enhanced by pops of West Coast shades, including bold blues and ivory, made this update shine.
