Sunny Sunflower Bouquet

I have another card that I created for my team challenge. This time, I used Golden Glow, Crisp Cantaloupe, Lemon Lolly, Pecan Pie and Granny Apple Green for the colour combination. Radiant Sunflowers is in the spotlight again. This card has many sunflowers which is kind of mimicking my garden at the moment. I love sunflowers especially in the mid-summer as my garden starts to turn, wither and decay. I love this bright colour scheme.

Sunflowers in Bloom

It's sunflower season! At least, the sunflowers are in bloom or about to bloom in my neighbourhood. I have 2 beautiful sunflowers about to blossom in the next few weeks. The Radiant Sunflowers bundle has come out at the best time and I love creating with this bundle. I made this card for a team challenge. Poinsettias in Purple

Here is another Pretty Poinsettia colour scheme in purple, green and white. For the Stampin' Up! followers, I stamped in Highland Heather and used white embossing powder for the sentiment. I used Peaceful Pine for the cardstock and several retired items for the background and embellishments. For my white poinsettia, I used the Shimmering Stripes specialty paper and some retired white sparkly paper. I love the sparkles and shine. There will be more Pretty Poinsettias cards to come!

Birthday Bundle of Gifts

After a couple of months away from the craft room, I still haven't jumped back into the groove. It's been a busy summer as my kids activities wind down. I wanted to share another card that I made in April, but never got around to posting and sharing until today. This card uses the new Words & Wishes Bundle. I used the retired In Colors in Peach Pie and Petunia Pop. I was sad to see these colours retire. Who wouldn't love to see a stack of presents for their birthday? I definitely would.
