Love this transformation! Increasing the value of your home and creating joyful spaces💛

DESIGN BRIEF
100 year old East Vancouver family home. Small bathroom that opens up into the living room, essentially doing double-duty as a guest powder room. Needs to blend in with the existing living room and character of the house. Needs ‘wow’ factor!

DESISN GOAL
Pull colour palette of blues and greys into the new bathroom with a ‘wow’ feature tile wall that draws your eyes up to make the ceiling height feel higher and the bathroom feel larger. Expanded almost invisible shower area creates visual space and a custom modern farmhouse vanity with more storage.

Happy 2026 💛

Reflecting back on this refresh project where the paint colour did the heavy lifting to add a dramatic new look and feel! In this townhouse project, a new feature wall was required in the living room after the original fireplace was removed.

Here's a glimpse of the new feature wall with arched doorways and the dark dramatic wall. PLUS removing a pony wall to open up the stairwell, new light fixtures, intentional placement of the client's own art work, and editing old/new pieces of furniture 💛
