My May makes! ✨🧵

This month, I decided to make 5 of the same top. Best way to work through a fabric stash, and these came just in time for the warm weather ☀️

This April I made myself a dress! 🌹

I had so much fun making this one and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Made with some beautiful cotton/linen bottom weight from my stash :)

The pattern I based it off of was the Kallie Midi Dress by Tillys Pattern Studio on Etsy. I just changed the back to be a corset tie up rather than a zipper and adjusted to neckline a bit to fit me better. So fun!

My March makes ✨

My 2026 goal of making something for myself every month is still going strong! Last month, I made two things - a long sleeve using some super soft cotton jersey in my stash, and this little vest out of a secondhand little quilt! Simple, but these will definitely both become some wardrobe staples. And they are the perfect combo for spring!

My February make! 🧵✨

So this is one I actually started back in 2023 😅 I pieced this quilt together out of plant dyed fabric scraps with the goal of making it into a coat, and then put it aside for no reason — a project that took me less than 2 days to finish sat there waiting for me for over 2 years.

Anyway I’m so happy with how it turned out and proud of myself for finally doing it! I also found it so interesting to see how much my skills have grown since I started this project — I wasn’t the greatest at making sure the corners lined up two years ago lol

So take this as a sign to pick up that half-done project!! Here’s to a creative March! 🌼💛

A very late happy new year 🤍 It’s been a slow start over here, but I’m excited to get back into a groove!

I wanted to share that I made this dress for myself, to kick off my New Year’s goal to make more things for myself. My goal is to make one thing for myself every month, feel free to hold me accountable 😅

I originally got into sewing in high school because of an interest in making clothes for myself. I followed that passion and studied fashion at university for 4 years. By the end, I was tired of garment making, it had been my whole life for the last 10 years. That’s when I fell into natural dyeing, quilting, and the kinds of pieces you see me share here. Now it feels like things are coming full circle — the spark is back, the fabric stash is growing, and the ideas are taking over my brain.

Back to the dress, this fabric is from the amazing (which also happens to be where I work 3 days a week - so you’ll quickly notice where my stash is coming from). And the pattern is the Liliana Dress by Mila Oni ✨
