✨ We’re Hiring! Barista / Front of House ✨

Do you love coffee, creative spaces, and connecting with people? Our Barista / Front of House team plays a huge role in making our café and pottery studio feel warm, welcoming, and community-driven — and we’re looking to add a new face to the team 🤍

This role is about more than pulling espresso shots. You’ll be crafting delicious drinks, offering thoughtful customer service, helping keep our space beautiful, and supporting our pottery studio with Pottery Painting activities, retail sales, class info, and pottery pickups. Every shift is a mix of coffee, creativity, and conversation.

We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, positive, and excited to be part of a team that values inclusivity, creativity, and genuine connection. If you love learning, collaborating, and helping people feel at home the moment they walk in — we’d love to meet you.

We’re an official drop off location for Boxes of Hope program this year! 🤗

Help us collect over 700 boxes for low-income seniors, veterans, and vulnerable residents this holiday season.

Since 2020, has delivered more than 4000 Boxes of Hope to vulnerable seniors and veterans in order to spread holiday joy to those most in need.

This holiday season, we invite you to make a difference by registering to create a Box of Hope and spread joy as this gift is often the only one they might receive.

Join us at the on Sat Dec 6, 2025 | 6:30–9:45 PM and Experience the excitement of a live Pottery Throwdown Competition, where five local ceramic artists face off in a spirited, fast-paced challenge. Featured artists include Gloria Jue-Youn Han, Rylie McGuire, Emily Sheppard, Jackie Talmey and Isabel Wynn. Joining us as a celebrity judge is artist Brendan Lee Satish Tang, known for his role on CBC’s The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down.

Watch as creativity and technique take centre stage, transforming pottery-making into a thrilling spectator event. The audience plays a key role—get up close, cheer on your favourites and cast your vote to crown the People’s Choice Winner!

All proceeds from this event support exhibitions and public programs at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
