When the Tangram collection launched, it introduced something genuinely different to the modular kitchen category. A fully customizable curved system that could anchor a space without overwhelming it.

Now the collection is growing. The same softness is available in more configurations, including with our Maxima modules, bringing curves to more kitchens.

A remote property in the East Kootenay, designed for people who know how to host well.

This floor of the home was built around entertaining, a fully functional bar, open living, guest rooms, and bathrooms that feel considered rather than incidental. The cabinetry runs throughout in Rovere Fossile and Noce desaturato wood veneers, with stone surfaces that carry the same natural quality from room to room.

The owners chose Cesar for its longevity as much as its look. On a property this remote, the materials needed to last and age well. Wood veneer and stone were non-negotiable, a direct reflection of the landscape outside.

Our 2026 design forecast, straight from Milan.

This year pointed toward kitchens that feel softer and more considered. Radius detailing is showing up in cabinetry and islands in a big way. Glass has been innovated, layered with paint and mirror finishes to read almost like metal. Textured surfaces are adding a new dimension, with finishes you can feel. Colour is pulling back toward muted neutrals, greys and whites that give a space a cohesive, lasting quality. And design is moving beyond the kitchen altogether, with more full home solutions including bathroom vanities and living spaces.

Set within 480 acres of untouched landscape in East Kootenay, BC, this custom log home is defined by its remoteness and the raw conditions of its environment.

Accessible only via rough gravel roads or by helicopter during the harshest winter months, the project demanded a level of coordination far beyond design alone. Every aspect of the Cesar Vancouver millwork solution, from specification to delivery and installation, was meticulously planned for durability, precision, and resilience.

The result is a seamless balance between the comforts of everyday living and an off-grid lifestyle, deeply grounded in its natural surroundings.
