Here is a first glimpse at our new KIN light debuting this week at . Join us this Friday 7-10pm for what promises to be a stellar opening night to OBJ:OBJ, featuring 21 of Vancouver’s finest lighting, furniture, homewares and product design studios.

‘Thresholds’ + the launch of ‘Still Lives’

After an unexpected postponement, we’re delighted to invite you to an evening celebrating Aimée Henny Brown’s exhibition ‘Thresholds’—and the official launch of ‘Still Lives’, a new publication of collages and poems created by in collaboration with the extraordinary poet Chelsea Lee Wood .

Written, assembled and hand-bound with care over the past six years, ‘Still Lives’ is a “conversation and kinship between interior spaces, books as places, and images and words as constant companions”.

Each book is a unique object and includes a poster featuring screen-printed text from one of Chelsea’s poems.

Please join us for the celebration. Artist and poet will be in attendance on what promises to be a gorgeous July evening!

Due to unforeseen circumstances the opening celebration planned for this Friday for ‘Threshold’ by is temporarily postponed.

Aimée’s work will be on display in our gallery beginning this Friday until July 15th. Stay tuned for a rescheduled opening later this month.

We’re excited to announce “Thresholds”, a new exhibition by , opening at Propellor Studio on Friday, June 5.

This new work shares how Aimée’s collage histories and ways of making are merging — exploring eerily familiar domestic spaces that barely hold together, building portals into possible worlds.

watercolours and oil paintings by one of our favourite artists, Geoff Carter. Like many of the best things in life, this show happened spontaneously. A call from the man, a little gap in the schedule and voila, we’re happy to present “Baby Got Me a Horse”.
