The hilltop town of Vibo Valentia, Calabria with its Archeological Museo Nationale housed in a 12th C Norman Castle. There were many Greek artifacts however many were stolen through illegal excavations. Fortunately the Krater vessel was tracked down by Carabinieri’s special dept. at the home of a private investor and returned.
