You walk into an exhibit “just to look” and leave completely starstruck.
Meeting Julius at Copenhagen Design Week was already unexpected, but getting to join Julius for a spontaneous arrangement? Absolutely surreal.
By the end, Golnaz said I looked like a kid in a candy store—and honestly, that sums it up perfectly.

I got incredibly lucky to collaborate with Margherita P***a and her team at Arithmetic Studio.

In her words:

“Arithmetic Studio transformed into Fioreria — an ephemeral Italian-inspired floral shop in celebration of 20 years of design, beauty, and shared creative vision.

Sculptural floral bouquets were wrapped in long-forgotten cutwork lace textiles, once tucked away in storage, waiting to be cherished again.

Aesthetically environmental. Remembered heirlooms.
The forgetting of the forgetting. The remembering of the remembering.

Each piece of fabric is an artifact: a future blouse, a soft wall hanging, or whatever your imagination makes of it.”

Our goal is to facilitate responsible design and zero-waste approach to all events we work for, no matter how large they are.
Events create waste, however much of that waste can be reused, composted, or recycled, but at the end of the night, with little time and less energy to dispose of things thoughtfully or properly, most event teams just throw everything away. The result is garbage bags piled high with unnecessary trash headed to already overflowing landfills.

Flowers thrown away in landfills emit harmful greenhouse gases that change our global climate,
making new flowers (among other things) challenging to grow.

Seattle gave me something special. I had the chance to support Courtney with her beautiful floral work, and it truly felt like spending the day with an old friend.
Her talent, vision, and the way she brings flowers to life is something I deeply admire. It was such a pleasure to finally meet in person and an honour to work alongside her.

Wow, the joy this giant wreath brought to our world is incredible! Here’s a collection of moments from install day and a few leading up to it.

· The custom bow went through several prototypes, tested for water resistance, color match, and size proportions, then was securely fastened on-site for the windy days ahead.

·The massive wreath base, made with willow branches by our dear .abby.

· The vision was brought to life by (see render).

· connected us with Fable (thank you!!) and helped secure our 8-ft wreath to the wall—I’m sure that was trickier than designing the wreath itself!

· The unfiltered joy of customers seeing it installed for the first time.

· The love and support from the team filled my heart to the brim! We love you, Fable.
