What a weekend ❤️

A big thank you to Fran at Artisan Showcase for putting together such a wonderful event, to the Penticton community for coming out and supporting local, and to my awesome vendor neighbours who always make these markets even more fun.

It was so nice meeting new vendors and connecting with so many familiar faces—I truly appreciate every visit, kind word, and purchase. These weekends are a lot of work behind the scenes, but moments like this make it all worth it.

If you missed this one (or just want more treats), I’ll be at Craft Culture’s Kelowna Spring Market on April 11 & 12 at the Kelowna Curling Club—I’d love to see you there!

🐣 A Sweet Little Easter Brain Teaser! 🐰

Looking for something a little different to tuck into those Easter baskets this year? These Easter Word Search Cookies are a fun little activity and a treat all in one.

Each cookie is made from my signature vanilla sugar cookie topped with smooth vanilla royal icing and printed with a festive Easter word search just waiting to be solved. Once you’ve found all the words… the best part is you get to eat the puzzle. 🍪

Each cookie comes with:
🖊️ A food-safe edible ink marker so you can solve the puzzle right on the cookie
✔️ A matching answer key to check your work

They’re packaged on a festive Easter backer that reads “Treats for My Peeps,” making them perfect for popping straight into an Easter basket. 🐥🥕

You can find these at the Artisan Showcase Spring Market at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre (PTCC).

This baby shower theme? Brew-tiful. ☕👶

I recently had the chance to create this coffee-themed baby shower cookie set for a returning customer, and it was such a fun theme to bring to life. Coffee and babies just seem to go hand in hand — especially when everyone is gathering to celebrate a brand new little one.

I can’t believe we are only ONE week away from the Artisan Showcase Hello Spring Market! 🐰🌷

Come find me at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre for a full weekend of shopping local, meeting amazing makers, and celebrating spring.

🗓 Saturday, March 21 | 9 AM – 5 PM
🗓 Sunday, March 22 | 10 AM – 3 PM

The market will be packed with talented artisans, plus fun activities hosted throughout the show including DIY workshops, live painting, pottery demos, and spring garden inspiration while you shop.

For this post I’m showcasing my Bunny Pop Cookies!
They may look like a cookie on a stick… but surprise — it’s actually a full decorated sugar cookie designed to look like a pop. Cute, fun, and perfect for Easter baskets or a sweet spring treat.

Make sure to hop by my booth and grab one before they disappear! 🐇🍪

If you want, I can also tighten this into a more “scroll-stopping” social media style post (a little punchier with better hook lines). Those usually perform a bit better for markets.

If there’s one tip I could give you about decorated sugar cookies, it’s this…

Keep them sealed until you’re ready to enjoy them.

Those clear bags they come in aren’t just for looks — they keep the cookies soft, fresh, and protected. Once the bag is opened, air starts to dry them out and they can lose that perfect bakery texture.

So if you’re saving them for later, a gift, or a special moment…
leave the cookie sealed and it will stay fresh much longer.

When you’re ready though?
Open, enjoy, and try not to eat them all in one sitting. I make no promises though. 😉
