We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly grateful to announce that Animal Auxiliary has been voted FIRST PLACE in all three categories we were nominated in!
⭐ Best Charity
⭐ Best Non-Profit
⭐ Best Thrift Store
What an incredible honour! ❤️
We want to give a huge thank you to every one of our amazing volunteers. Your hard work, dedication, compassion and countless hours make Animal Auxiliary what it is. None of this would be possible without you. This award belongs to every one of you.
And to our wonderful community — THANK YOU! Thank you for voting for us, donating, shopping at our thrift store, participating in our auctions, supporting our fundraisers and standing behind us year after year.
Without the support of our community, we simply could not continue doing the work we do for animals and the people who love them.
These three awards mean so much to us because they came from YOU — our community.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! ❤️🐾
We did this together!

One last thank you to everyone who supported this campaign.

YOU DID IT!!! 🎉🐾

$27,340!!!

That’s $905 MORE than we raised last year and 91% of our $30,000 goal.

AMAZING. ❤️

This year, 50 incredible people took part in the ProConcepts Animal Health Move Your Way 2+5K – walking, running, rolling and moving their way for the dogs of Boston Terrier Rescue Canada. And together, you raised an absolutely phenomenal $27,340.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the ProConcepts Animal Health Move Your Way 2+5K without…well… ProConcepts Animal Health! Their continued support helps us make this event possible year after year, and we are incredibly grateful to have them moving right alongside us.

A very special shout-out also goes to our top fundraiser, Dubravka, who raised a REMARKABLE $4,250 all on her own! 👏

To every participant who signed up, asked friends and family to support them, shared their fundraising page and got out there and moved their way – THANK YOU.

To every person who donated – whether it was $5, $25, $100 or more – THANK YOU. Every single donation helped get us here.

And to all of our amazing sponsors and prize donors – thank you for getting behind our participants, providing some fabulous incentives to keep fundraising and helping make Move Your Way such a success.

And now... the prizes! 🎉 Congratulations to our 2026 prize winners:

Crumps’ – Marsha E 🐾 Crumps’ – Kelly P. 🐾 Denizen Yoga – Suzanne S.🐾 DogsAge – Dubravka P. 🐾 Get Dirty Pet Gear – Justine W. 🐾 Kalaya – Tyler B. 🐾 The Kitchen at White Lake – Shelley G. 🐾 Le Dog – Colette D.🐾 Paws and Puddles Dog Adventures – Susan H.🐾 Ren’s Pets – Andrea S. 🐾 Smart Earth – Candace C. 🐾 Tara P. 🐾 Randi M. 🐾 Natalee M. 🐾 Melissa D. 🐾 Wagz Wear - Larry J.🐾 Deborah M.

Prizes will be shipped along with Move Your Way participant swag, which is now in production. We’re hoping to have everything in our hands and on its way to you very soon!

But the biggest winners? The dogs. ❤️

$27,340 means veterinary care. Medication. Food. Supplies. And the ability to say YES when the next dog needs us.

From all of us at Boston Terrier Rescue Canada – and especially from the dogs whose lives you are helping to change – THANK YOU. ❤️🐾

This past weekend was a whirlwind of activity.
While supporting rescue efforts is a priority of mine and the main reason I started this page and my journey ... food insecurity is another 'hot button'. It simply blows my mind that people on our continent are going hungry.
I could flap on and on about this issue ..not gonna solve it ... so I help where I can.
Twice a year, I organize a food drive in our community in support of a small nonprofit called All Are Family Outreach Society
This past Saturday was our fall food drive. It was a lot of work, somewhat chaotic but the result was so worth it.
Times are rough right now. There are economic pressures, tariff's, uncertainty and this summer brought fires. We were evacuated from our home for a week and we were the lucky ones. Many folks lost everything and a lot were uninsured. As winter approaches we still have increased numbers of unhoused along with those families, seniors and individuals who are just plain trying to make ends meet.
The food drive won't solve any of it ..... but when asked... our community stepped up and helped.
It means something. It matters! It helps!
