How do you remove a broken window 8 ft wide x 20 ft tall and half an inch thick? Verrrrry carefully. It’s literally a ton of glass. So sorry that the downtown Victoria library got vandalized but glad we were able to help them reopen.

Pretty cool to see Ryan and Laurie from Upward Elements written up in Boulevard Magazine. Check out page 45-47. Allied Glass fabricated and installed a custom railing system for both the interior and exterior of the home. Nice to have the craftsmanship recognized!

Covid 19 has been a major challenge for all of us. Allied Glass is now doing sneeze guards, contamination barriers, separation glass to help businesses protect their employees and reduce the risk of spreading this or any other virus.

What a crazy weekend! Our 24 hour emergency service was inundated with emergency calls. The wind and snow were a double whammy! Poor James Fisher is exhausted. We had to call another employee in to give him a hand. But we managed to take care of everyone!

Glad to have helped the Royal BC Museum out of a jam. The new Egypt exhibit arrived and several of the glass cases protecting the artifacts broke in shipping. We were able to order the specialty glass and build them new ones in the nick of time. The exhibit literally opened as we swept up and left the building.

Always nice to hear positive feedback. When someone is upset - you can be pretty sure you will hear about it! When someone is happy with your work, you hear about it less often. Sending a card in the mail is a thoughtful gesture and takes effort. We sure appreciate that effort - makes our day!

Allied Glass hard at work renovating old single pane windows and converting to energy efficient double pane units - all without having to remove the frame and cut into the building envelope. Way to go Brad Harvey Mike Mclean and James Fisher.
