Every year for Christmas I try to make something new. Something I’ve never made before. So today I decided to make yummy “Christmas Crack”. There are lots of recipe variations available on social media but basically you mix together your dry ingredients…I used Rice Chex, Wheat Chex (Shreddies), Corn Chex, Cheerios, Salted Stick Pretzels, Salted Peanuts and Red and Green M & M’s. Mix up the dry ingredients together really well in a large bowl then pour warm melted white chocolate over the top and mix up well so everything gets covered in the chocolate. While still warm spread the mixture out on a baking sheet pan covered in parchment paper. Let it cool in the fridge until it gets rock hard, about 30 minutes. Then just break it up into bite size piece and put in a plastic, metal or glass container. Here I used a wide mouth jar and added a vintage Dollie to cover the lid. Makes a nice sweet and salty treat to give someone for Christmas. Warning…it very addictive!

PS If you wish the full recipe I used message me and I’ll send you the link. Enjoy!

This morning I carved out the centre of this white pumpkin that I picked up at the grocery store a few days ago. I then inserted a plastic container into the centre. I added a bit of water and also some pretty petite flowers from the garden. An easy DYI and great for your table centre piece this upcoming Canadian Thanksgiving weekend!! ♥️

It’s officially “Pumpkin Season”….one of my favourite times of the year! I decided to make a few cloth pumpkins this year using vintage doilies. This is the first one made using a vintage crocheted doily. I added a dried real pumpkin stem to finish it off. Love how it turned out…so cute! ♥️
