It’s been a while 👋

This season of life has been mostly devoted to my art practice. Lately, though, I found myself experimenting again and developed a new technique I couldn’t wait to share with you.

These are my latest creations: hand-painted rustic salvaged fishing vessels. The texture is palpable, layered, and beautifully organic.

Always grateful when clients welcome these in their home to give these beautiful objects a second life. 🤍

Everything old is new again ♻️
For this commission vessel, as always, I began with a pre-loved vase, choosing to reuse rather than buy new.

My clients intentionally chose me for the conscious, sustainable approach behind my craft, trusting me to create something meaningful while minimizing waste. With thoughtful preparation, eco-minded materials and my hand-crafted finishing technique, I transformed the vase and blended a custom colour designed to fit seamlessly into their space. Giving existing objects a second life allows me to create décor that’s both responsible and beautifully personal.

Hi, I’m Chantal!
I realize I’ve never really introduced myself properly here.
Back in 2019, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I left my full-time job to create a life that felt free and abundant.
I’ve always been drawn to creativity, design, fashion and creating beauty with my own two hands. That year, I started a business as a personal stylist and opened an Etsy shop to sell vintage clothing and decor. Thrifting has been a lifelong passion of mine as long as I can remember, I’ve loved giving new life to beautiful old things.
Then came 2020 and the world changed in a flash. When Covid hit, my small fashion styling business had to take a back seat. No one was going anywhere and  let’s say that “above the keyboard” became the new dress code. But in the quiet of that time, something new began to unfold.
Locked at home, I started creating hand-painted vases at first, little DIY projects that brought me peace. To my surprise, they began to sell quickly on Etsy. Then, I started creating art for my own home and something inside me clicked.
In 2022, I took another leap and I launched my own website to share my art with the world. That’s when my true artistic journey began.
Fast forward to today: I’m a full-time artist with a studio space of my own, a place filled with light, calm and creativity. This 6 year journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it.
Every day, I get to live a slower, more intentional life — creating from the heart. I’m endlessly grateful to everyone who has supported, believed in and collected my work along the way. You’ve helped turn a dream into my everyday reality.
✨ Here’s to following your intuition, taking leaps, and creating a life that feels true to you.
