Our next terrarium workshop is live on the website. Just in time for Halloween. We have 2 sessions to choose from on Sunday October 25th. The first one is at 11:00am and the second is at 2:00pm. Both are live on the website now. Here’s my most recent creation getting me in the mindset for spooky season. This one is inspired by the cult classic “The Exorcist”. Admittedly this one was always on my most scary movies list. I was definitely way too young my first time watching. Still gives me the heebie-jeebies 30 years later lol.

🌿🎉 Okay… hear us out: PLANT BINGO. 🎉🌿
What if we traded the usual bingo cards for plants, prizes, laughs and a room full of fellow plant people? 🪴😂
We’re tossing around the idea of hosting a Gold Leaf Plant Bingo night—and before we start plotting prizes and causing botanical chaos, we want to know…
Would you come?! 👀
Bring a friend. Meet some fellow plant lovers. Play a few rounds. Maybe win yourself a new leafy friend. 🌱🏆
If this sounds like something you’d be excited to attend, DROP A 🌿 IN THE COMMENTS and let us know!
The more interest we see, the more likely we are to make it happen! 🎉

❤️🌿 Meet Scarlet Girl. 🌿❤️
She’s dramatic. She’s delicate. She knows exactly how to make an entrance.
Caladium ‘Scarlet Girl’ has striking crimson-red foliage that practically glows against its green backdrop. A little tropical diva with a flair for the theatrical. ✨
She likes bright, indirect light, warmth, humidity, and consistently moist—but not soggy—soil. Treat her well and she’ll reward you with a spectacular show.
🌿 Scarlet Girl has arrived at Gold Leaf Botanicals.
Come meet the newest drama queen from the greenhouse. 👑❤️

🌿 Bringing a little bit of the tropics to the heart of business.
We’re proud to have installed this lush tropical garden in the atrium of the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics.
The atrium is where ideas come together—students gather, professors connect, and conversations happen between classes. We wanted the garden to reflect that energy while creating a little more life, calm, and nature in the heart of the school. 🌱
A living space for learning, connecting, and growing.

🚨 THE WHITE MONSTER HAS ARRIVED. 🚨
The latest obsession has landed at Gold Leaf Botanicals. 🌿👀
Monstera ‘White Monster’ is a highly sought-after variegated Monstera with big, dramatic leaves splashed with creamy-white variegation. Every plant is different — and that’s half the fun.
🌱 Likes: bright indirect light, warmth, humidity, chunky well-draining soil and something to climb.
The white sections contain less chlorophyll, so this beauty needs good light to keep growing strong.
🤍💚 Rare. Unpredictable. Slightly addictive.
LIMITED QUANTITIES AVAILABLE.
Come choose your Monster before someone else joins the cult. 😂

Okay, let’s settle this once and for all. Who’s rocking the better curves—me or this absolute stunner of a B***y Cactus (Myrtillocactus geometrizans ‘Fukurokuryuzinboku’)? 👀🌵
Planty Plant Place
Let’s be honest, my plant styling skills are top-tier, but mother nature really showed off with this cultivar. Drop your honest ranking in the comments (and be nice, the cactus takes rejection very personally).
On a serious and important note: while we’re having a little fun, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Take a moment next month to check in on yourselves and your loved ones, schedule those routine screenings, and support breast cancer research however you can! 💖🌸

🎸🐱 THE Meowsicians are in THE BUILDING! 🐱🎸
Things got a little loud in the terrarium department… so naturally, we had to form a band. 😂
Introducing our newest creation: The Purrfectly Planted Band — a full feline rock ensemble, complete with drums, guitar, speakers, a boombox, and because every respectable band needs one… a disco ball. 🪩
Surrounded by lush Fittonia and live moss, this tiny stage has everything you need for a sold-out show… assuming your audience consists of about 14 ants and a very enthusiastic houseplant. 🌿😹
🎤 Lead vocals? Questionable.
🥁 Drums? Absolutely.
🎸 Guitar solo? Imminent.
🪩 Disco ball? Non-negotiable.
And yes… there is definitely a tiny cat in the front row who looks like they’re already demanding an encore.
Another little world, another ridiculous story, another terrarium from Gold Leaf Botanicals. 🌿✨
