Buy Canadian is on the tip of everyone’s tongue during our ongoing trade war with our southern neighbour. But there are so many great reasons to purchase locally made furniture that go beyond a temporary movement.

Swipe to read about our favourite reasons to buy locally made furniture (bonus points if it’s from a small business!)

A pillow refresh can change the whole room. ❤️‍🔥

We’re loving the Manipur Oyster, Cassia Aubergine Magenta, and Patiali Fuchsia pillows for their mix of pattern, texture, and colour. Together, they add just enough personality to make a sofa feel completely new.

Plus, if your mood changes, they’re easily interchangeable with two styles on either side of the pillow. Now that’s a 2-for-1 we can get behind.

Visit the Rousseau’s showroom in Whitby to find your perfect combination!

More red, more personality. 🥀

We love a room that isn’t afraid of colour. Rich reds, layered patterns, soft fabrics, and pieces with a little bit of history all come together to create a cohesive palette.

A little Diana Vreeland penthouse inspiration never hurts, either.

Love the look? Let us help you pull together a warm, elegant palette of your own. Email us at to book your consultation today at [email protected]!
