Another couple of projects I got done….a commission for a couple of hooded towels for kids that are awesome for at the lake….and a commissioned bee and another I did as a donation….these were great projects that are easier to do when I need to shut my mind off for a bit from the big projects

This blanket was a fun one to do….I was asked to take these hockey jerseys, hoodies and shirts and make them into a blanket for their son for graduation….I went through the many items and chose what I would need and started cutting everything up….once everything was cut up I started laying it out and seeing where they would all fit the best….once I got it laid out I took a few pictures so I could remember what went where and I started sewing…it came together so awesome….I had to add a few filler pieces but I was able to use pieces from the hoodies, sleeves from the jerseys etc….I backed the blanket with a navy blue fleece blanket and then quilted it all together….this blanket ended up being about a queen sized blanket…I can’t tell you how many hours went into it but it was definitely a joy to work on….I was happy to put this blanket together for this family for their son…it will definitely be a memorable graduation gift 👨‍🎓🎓

I delivered these bears today….i really need to remember to take before pictures…..the cream bear was a sweatshirt with Nana heat pressed onto it….i cut out the design and put it aside and then proceeded to cut out the bear….when I got the bear stuffed I fussy cut out the Nana design and pinned it to the bear and I hand sewed it on with the blanket stitch…because of how the bear is made there was no way i could use a sewing machine to attach the design…the bear turned out beautiful and I love the Nana design from the shirt added to the front of the bear….the little bear was a new one for me….i found a pattern and made a test bear before I made the actual bear from the clothing the family gave me….the little bear is so cute and something I will definitely make again….I’m thankful to this family for trusting me to make their families memorial items

Another 2 projects are finally finished and off my list….these blankets are for my grand-girls…..the fox blanket is a blanket i started for Ember and it’s going to be her couch cuddler and I was hoping to get it done earlier but i usually put my projects on the back burner to do other commissions…but it’s finally done….the fleece blanket is for Eira and it’s her stroller/car seat blanket…it goes over the head so that it wraps around them when they can’t wear a coat etc….i now have to find some more material with a monkey theme so I can make Eira a couch cuddler as well lol….that just makes me excited to go fabric shopping

I was asked to make this loved ones favorite t-shirt into a bear…I had to lay the pattern out so that I could get the most use of the design into the bear….I’m happy with how he turned out and I’m so glad I could make this memorial piece for this family

I made the first blanket and won a ribbon for it at the fall fair…I brought it home and decided to take it apart and make it into something else….i found this awesome granny square blanket so I decided to make it up….I just gifted it to a special friend for her birthday and to also celebrate her cancer free diagnosis….the colors make me so happy and I’m so excited that she loves it

One last commission that i finished on the 22nd of December and delivered…..this unicorn takes 7 balls of blanket yarn…....

One last commission that i finished on the 22nd of December and delivered…..this unicorn takes 7 balls of blanket yarn….a ton of stuffing and 2 pillows to make…but there was an excited little girl that received “violet” and will love her very much 💜🦄
