As if you needed another reason to visit the Third Eye Avenue 2nd Annual Season of the Witch Spiritual & Wellness Expo, we will be raising funds for a cat in need.
Alfred (pictured) is our - now retired - Nanny cat, and he was the recipient of our community's kindness back in 2021 when he needed surgery to remove his bladder stones. We know all to well the struggles of life throwing us everything it has during an emergency veterinary crisis, and how much of a financial strain it put on our family.
When we heard another kitty, named Rocky, in the community was going through the very same struggles with their health, and that the door prize at the Expo will be raising funds for Rocky, we wanted to help. We donated one of our Oracle Decks to the door prize, so get your tickets when you visit us on Saturday, if you're feeling lucky!! Alfred wanted to do something else too, so we can return the love and support he has received. We will be donating $1 from every candle purchase on Saturday, and we will have a jar on the table for anyone who wishes to donate their change.
Sweet 2 year old cat, Rocky, had a life-threatening emergency recently, and found out he has urinary stones and is now on a strict diet with special urinary food. He is currently on antibiotics and medication for pain, inflammation, and anxiety. This family has faced numerous large vet bills due to this and need help with costs associated with his condition such as prescribed urinary food, medication, as well as surgery to remove the stones to prevent a blockage from happening again.
