Meet the Life without a Tail Oracle Deck
We wanted to start the introductions by explaining the idea behind the deck. There are 44 cards, each featuring the main message at the top. Some of these words are balance related, some are cat themed, delightfully combining the spiritual guidance of oracle cards with our brand and the cats you love.
Each card then holds two voices. Bob is the upright representation - the calm, grounded and wise guidance. Moira is the reversed representation - the chaotic, slightly confrontational truth. We wanted to let their true personalities shine. We included these meanings directly on the card face, as I personally struggle to remember every definition and meaning, and struggle to maintain connection if I have to flip through a Guidebook to know what the cards are saying.
Each deck will come in a velvet bag for ease of transport for messages from your Guides on the go. The drawstring top provides handles to hold, and keeps the cards secure. No card box will be dinged up or knocked open in your bag.
I designed the pawprint border on the cards myself, edited all the words, and added the images that were generated with prompts and pictures of Bob and Moira. I made sure Bob didn't have a tail and made sure Moira's facial markings were right, and painstakingly spent days on each image, deciding how, and who, I wanted represented on each card. We would love to some day upgrade the deck with artist designed images, if someday the Universe connects us to the right person, but we put so much love into this already, we really wanted to share it.
The cards we will share pictures of are from a sample deck from a more expensive company, and though they came out beautifully, it was not affordable for me, or for you! We are waiting on the arrival of a sample deck from a more affordable company to offer you the best price possible, but we want to ensure the quality is up to our standards first! We want you love it as much as we do.
We will be introducing one card at a time, on Wednesdays, and Sundays, to keep us all waiting at the edge of our seats during the production and arrival wait times.
